Artist's Comments

"Firefly: The Animated Series" unfortunately does not exist, except in my mind.... This is a fan-creation, which has taken many daylight hours, and a more than few non-daylight hours to complete. Hopefully you will enjoy, as I do, and continue to keep the spirit of Serenity alive.

Some notes and fun-facts:
1. It's tough to draw Serenity. For as pretty a ship as she is, trying to make her into a cartoon character is not an easy task.
2. Yes, that says "Purplebelly Saloon" in the background.
3. Kaylee's obviously intimidated by the size of Jayne's...er..knife.
4. Book's right hand is behind his back. Get your mind out of the gutter.
5. Mal's right hand is actually holding Book's right hand. Geez, people.
6. Wash's left hand is...oh, for cryin' out loud, where would think it was? Use your imagination.
7. Kaylee's left hand...ok, no more hand clues. Get over it.

Shiny! I'd list everything I love about it, but it would take up a whole lot of space! :love: Jayne looks great (the hat! the shirt! the huge knife!); I really love how you did River; and it's awesome that Mal and Inara are standing to one side arguing! :heart: Bravo! :clap:
