Hi folks--thanks for stopping in. This is my stylistic tribute to a non-existant animated series that exists only in my head. Not that it shouldn't exist, but at the moment, only the sketches do. This is the Simon and Kaylee 1024 x 768 wallpaper-sized fan tribute. (The Mal & Zoe piece is already in my gallery.) Thanks much for viewing, and more to come soon.

hehe I know what's with the strawberry!! It's from the time that Sheperd Book gave Kaylee the crate of Strawberries as part of his payment to board Serenity...right? *beams with fangirl pride* This looks great! :D I LOVE Simon, and I wish this "animated series" didn't exist just in your head!! It would be such a great idea for the Sci-Fi Channel or something....oh well. The fans can keep wishing, right?

What you may already be familiar with is that everyone on the ship eats canned, flavored protein. Not much to taste, but it keeps them alive. Kaylee jumps at the opportunity to eat any organic food that they get their hands on, whether it's tomatoes, or apples....as part of his payment for passage aboard the ship, Shepherd Book offered strawberries.
