Returning once more to the characters and races of the Reawakening--

This is one of the offspring, an mutation/evolution of the Pyrrix/Rionn progeny.

Blind, but not harmless, Nubis (special thanks for the name) is a Para-Elemental/Being of Smoke. Fluid, powerful, restorative, and dangerous. She is a messenger. She bears the markings which grant her some magical influence over smoke, including the ability to unsubstantiate her physical form, taking a more intangible, smoke-like form.

Her guardians are Humo (port) and Fumo (starboard), who act as her eyes, as she wanders the Earth-realm without sight. Humo and Fumo are bionetic demons, created by master craftsmen (er, craftscreatures?) and they are both deceptively fast and strong, in spite of their Pokemon-like cuteness. They are capable of anti-gravitational thrust, but they must eat fairly frequently to fuel themselves (their utility belts contain almost exclusively food.)
